Antique Chinese Kangxi Moon Vase Flask Red Artemisia Leaf Mark 19th C? Figure NRThis is a no reserve auction for an antique Kangxi iron red moon vase flask with Artemisia leaf mark on the bottom that is possibly a 19th century piece, but I'm not exactly sure of its age, although there are many indicators of great age. It features sculpted, raised relief Chinese figures silhouetted in a carved out depression on both sides of this amazing vase. The porcelain is also textured with dappled mounding on the exterior surface, which is another rare quality about this extraordinary vase.It measures just under 13 inches (33.02 cm) tall with a widest width of 8.75 inches (22.22 cm) and a depth of about 2.75 inches (6.99 cm).It weighs a substantial 4.4 pounds (2 Kg) by itself, without any packing materials. Here's what I stated about this unique vase's condition:"Aged crackle glaze appearing in spots on front surface. Some minor scuff marks. No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs, just the crackling glaze of the item appearing in spots. Aged and yellow stained on interior of vase flask. Painted decorations worn down in spots."Truly a highly appealing and rare vase in classic form of a highly desirable style and mark, so you may want to grab it quick, before it is gone!
