This auction is NO RESERVE and a very low start for an Antique Chinese Teapot. An old estate piece from a very good Dallas estate and unconditionally guaranteed authentic and old and I would date it to ca. 1850 - 1880. Nicely decorated allover with handpainted scenes of (probably) scholars in a very attractive mid to late 19th century color palette. Knop is a peach or other auspicious fruit. It's nice. One tiny and very old rim chip (just above the handle in the pics) that has turned black with age; it doesn't detract in the slightest. Otherwise MINT with NO chips, cracks, fleabites, hairlines, repairs, missing parrts, etc. Very little wear to the decoration and I do guarantee that the lid is the original lid and not a match-up or replacement. Measures 7" long across spout and handle and 3" tall and it would be considered a smaller sized teapot. Bid with confidence, age, authenticity, and condition unconditionally guaranteed in writing and your money (less shipping) cheerfully refunded with *no questions asked* if you buy it and don't agree after you see it in person, but you aren't going to be disappointed. NO RESERVE and a very low start, a nice eBay opportunity. Please check my other auctions for more interesting and luxe items from old Dallas estates, almost everything at NO RESERVE and starting under $10; I'm happy to combine shipping.
