(2) Antique Chinese QianlongNian Zhi Porcelain Vases Item Description: Up for auction is a remarkable matching pair of antique Chinese Qianlong Nian Zhi porcelain cabinet vases manufactured during the early to mid 1900s in China. The vases are signed on the bottom in block form and also on the back in an oval. I do not know exactly what these read though. The vases are made of white porcelain with handpainted details on the exterior. The vases have a cylindrical form with a pinched neck and flared top edge. The exteriors are completely hand-painted with an emperor? and a servant/soldier waving a flag/banner over his head on a spear. In the clouds are five women each holding something different. The scene is outdoors with several trees, rocks, and clouds amd t is a horse next to the emperor. T are many colors represented in the artistry and it is a remarkable design being very well done. The top and bottom of the vase feature ornamental designs in black and rustic red as well. Overall the vases stand about 13 1/4" tall. This is a tremendous pair that have survived together exceptionally well! Item Condition: The overall condition of the set is excellent.
