A lovely little Chinese, hallmarked solid silver, pepper pot cruet of a China man pulling a rickshaw which has a removeable pepper pot on it. Overall it measures approx 3.5" long x 2.75" high x 1.25" wide and weighs approx. 40.7 grams. The piece is actually hallmarked on the rickshaw (see photo) and also the wheels move. The little pepper pot has a pull-off top but is not hallmarked but I do believe it is also solid silver and original to the rickshaw it sits in. With regard to condition, I have examined it very carefully. The pepper pot, as you can see, does have a couple of small minor dents which is to be expected. The rickshaw, on the back, may have one thin wire missing which runs from the hood to the wheel but I am not totally sure there was ever one there. Also, on one leg of the china man there appears to be a yellow mark which looks a little like glue. Evenso, these very minor flaws in no way reflect on the craftmanship of this lovely piece of hallmarked Chinese silver. UK postage & packing via Special Delivery £ 6.00. Europe postage, packing including insurance £ 9.25. USA/Canada/Australia/Japan postage, packing including insurance £ 10.25.
