B eautiful, elegant and traditional semi translucent jade stone carved 9", made in late 50's China, figurine statue--featuring a classic beauty Kwan-yin holding a flower. The sculpture measures app 7" tall stands on a special carved wood pedestal. Fully detailed, superb masterly carving technique. Everything intact, no broken finger or chip to her facial features. Has vintage wear to her costume and to flower; there is a tiny line found on the stem of the flower. There is a small chip to the wood pedestal. Please see pictures.
