AN EXCEPTIONALLY BEAUTIFUL LATE 18th CENTURY RECTANGULAR ROSEWOOD CHINESE DISPLAY/ALTER STAND: Fully handcrafted, deeply grained old rosewood patina, highest standard wood-pin angled joinery no nails or glue, original unrestored condition. The glowing surface show signs of use but not abuse over the past 100 years+. The dragon/lion carvings beneath the surface display area are both decorative and functional. Note, two of these forms are missing from one side end, prior to my original acquisition. This in no way detracts from overall appearance. Four well balanced feet/legs. A real piece of artistic Chinese history The piece was gifted to me some years ago by an Asian dealer for services rendered. Sold 'as is' in original condition. I love this scholar's piece! Measuring : 6.25" inches height by 7.6" across by 5.6" depth. These rectangular stands are rare today, especially one of this age. A functional work of art by itself. I have had a bronze Buddha and multiple porcelains placed on this piece and it truly makes a great alter stand. Please contact me with questions. Expect expert packaging for worldwide shipping. Authenticity guaranteed. Best Luck.
