THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!! You are bidding on an Antique Chippendale Mahogany Glass Curio China Cabinet Bookcase. This is a RARE find due to its age, size and beauty and is Turn of the Century American Made Circa 1900. The piece sits on beautifully curved cabriole legs with scrolled feet and sits on wheels. The corner of each leg has a beautifuly carved shell crested floral motif and a carved bell flower going down each leg. The top of the piece has a beautifully carved motif at the center with floral scroll work on the sides. Each side also has a nicely detailed shell crest at the center with a carved bell flower going down each side as well. T are double doors at the center with brass mortise lock and mechanism. The inside has a glass shelf with raised panels at the back al inset with mirrors and glass on all ist sides which makes it great for display. The back of the piece is stamped 488 3/4 and throughout it has a beautiful and exotic swirl crotch flame mahogany wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures below. This was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything that is made today and is all wood construction but please understand that this is an antique and has some minor imperfections on it. The glass panes are missing on each side and need to be measured and replaced but overall it's in very good shape. This piece measures approx 57 inches wide, 66 1/2 inches high and approx 17 1/4 inches deep. This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at 1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
