BEAUTIFUL OLD MAHOGANY? OAK? SECRETARY SLANT LID DESK Made by The Morris Furniture Mfg. Co. this desk came from a local estate sale,and is approx. 70-80 years old. the front serpentine design has four drawers w/chippendale pulls, dovetail construction, and each locks indivually (no key). as the slant top, which also locks, is opened, two sliders come out to support the writing surface. inside is one door in the middle, two finial slide-out compartments, three drawers, and many nooks. all locks,pulls, hardware,etc. are brass. clawfoot legs suport this wonderful secretary. all locks use skeleton type key. this quality piece of furniture is in great condition for it's age, but does have inperfections, nicks and finish blemishes, etc. which add to it's charm, or you could restore it to it's original condition check out the photos. sold as-is no refunds/returns buyer must arrainge shipping The requested additional photos were added below on Jan. 24, 2007
