This beautiful church pew came from the Emma Mennonite Church, a rural congregation in Emma, IN....just outside of Shipshewanna, Indiana. It is situated in the heart of northern Indiana Amish country. It is the final pew to be sold from an original lot of 20 pews. It has wonderful ornate applied carvings in two places on each of the end panels...and a cathedral shaped carving as well. I have pictured these for you. The pew is slightly over 48 inches long. The end panels are 34 inches high, and it it will stick out from the wall a total of 22 inches. T are small pieces of the applied carvings missing on the armrest portion of each of the end panels....I have pictured those for you to see. These missing pieces do not detract from the overall beauty of the pew! I am offering it for a Buy It Now price of $289 and an opening bid of $249. It is approximately 100 years old and in excellent condition. It is in the original finish. All I have done is go over the pew with Old English furniture restorer. The pew can be picked up at my home in Bellefontaine, Oh, or I can arrange for delivery using Pak Mail. If you need a shipping quote from Pak Mail, I will be happy to get one for you. Quotes can only be given during hours my local Pak Mail franchise is open (9:00-6:00 Monday through Friday, and 10:00-2:00 PM Saturday). They are closed on Sunday. Shipping cost, using PakMail, to most parts of the lower 48 states will run between $275 and $375 .In order to get a shipping quote, I will need to know the city, state, and zip code to which the pew will be shipped. I can also arrange to ship the pew by Greyhound; this method is less expensive for you....I can ship to almost any Greyhound station that accepts freight in the lower 48 states for a total shipping, preparation, and handling cost of $200 Shipping the pew this way would require you to go to the Greyhound station that accepts freight delivery to pick up your pew. (Using this method of shipping, I prepare the pew for shipping, using shrink wrap, and then transport it to the nearest Greyhound station (Lima, OH... about 40 miles away). This involves an 80 mile round trip and about a half day of my time, so I add an additional fee to the fee that Greyhound charges for shipping). As I mentioned, using this method results in a savings of quite a bit to you. If you have questions or would like to discuss the two shipping options further, feel free to contact me, either by phone, or using the My ebay email feature. My cell phone is ; home is . I have sold many pews on ebay and the buyers have been very pleased...please see my feedback in this regard. Payment is by check or money order. If a personal check is used, I will wait for it to clear before shipping the pew.
