Antique Circa 1800's Punched Tin Lantern Primitive OLD

You are bidding on an Antique Primitive Black Punched Tin Lantern , which measures approximately 14" tall x 5.5" diameter and was crafted from metal, with the candlestick holder, door hinges, & door clasp still in working order. I purchased this beautiful old lantern some 25+ years ago @ an antique shop near Covington, VA, at which time I added a small chain to the top for hanging. I'm unaware of any repairs or upgrades which may have been made by the previous owners, but will gladly send close-up photos to anyone who is interested if you are an expert at such things. As pictured, it has some dents & rusting, adding to the charm of this rustic/primitive piece of American History. Although I've done my best to describe this item, please feel free to contact me with any questions or to view larger pictures before bidding on this item, because all sales are final.
