Antique, Circa 1885, "ANSONIA" wood shelf/mantle, time and strike clock. I believe the case/cabinet is Oak but I am not an authority on wood. It is in the "Eastlake" style. The patterned glass is original and has no chips or cracks. The wood case/cabinet has a nice patina-no breaks or chips in the wood. It is approx. 20" tall x 12" wide. It has a winding key that works but it is not the original. A wonderful clock that is all original. I took it to a clock shop that specialized in antique clocks on 2/7/06. I will send those papers with the clock so the buyer will have them. He verified that it was all original and also cleaned, oiled, adjusted and lubricated mainsprings, and made any adjustments that were needed. Everything worked as it should. I have had it locked in a case since that date. I will be happy to answer any questions that I can or to email more pictures if needed. The clock will be well packed for shipping or if a local buyer wants to pick it up, that can be arranged. No reserve. I have been collecting antiques/primitives/vintage collectibles for 35 years and I will be selling all of my personal collection, so please check all my listings often.
