Civil War Document Antique 108 Years of Age Grand Army of the Republic Siege of Petersburg Honorable Discharge 1899 The information was given through The Historical Society of Maryland . This is a very rare piece that was documented 45 years after the Civil War. The body of text is hand scribed and best noted to my interpretation. The graphics still have brilliant color and immense detail behind thick protective glass. This piece has some very minor flaws for its age - some deterioration on bottom frame (see pictures). Minor yellowing around some of the edges (see pictures). Dimensions = 29" inches wide X 36" inches in length. Wood mitered frame measures 4" inches all around. Strong oak backing supports frame. A great exhibit of history for a home, business or institution.
