Antique Civil War Era S. N. Meyer Sword &Scabbard. is an Ivory handled Civil War Era sword and scabbard made by S.N. Meyer and in excellent condition. This sword measures 34 1/2 inches over all length with a 28 inch blade. This sword is manufacture marked on the blade with "S.N. Meyer/Washington/D.C." and has a Maltese Cross on the cross guard. a columned Ivory handle, and a knight's head pommel (see photos). This antique sword is in excellent condition with some spotting on the scabbard and only one small (1/16) inch old chip on one of the ivory columns. This is a fine antique Civil War Era sword and would make a great gift for any sword collector. is an excellent opportunity to bid on this for the low opening bid of $9.99.
