These are Civil War military sharpshooter's glasses, c.1860. The amber lenses reduced glare without darkening the image and the frosting on all but the center of the lenses caused the eye to focus on the target without distraction. RARE! I sell my listings WITHOUT A RESERVE , and NO returns. Study the pictures before bidding, and ask question if you are unclear about anything.
