Antique Victorian Hump/Dome Top Steamer Trunk / Chest This is an antique Victorian Dome top chest, civil war era. You can still see areas on the wood w the leather civil war rebel flags were (please view photos). Original inner Victorian paper labels and compartments (hatbox, secret letter/document holder, and more) present. No key, and leather side handles need to be replaced. Piece does show signs of age and wear, as shown in the photos, but has never been refinished or polyurethaned. Could use a good polishing, depending on preference. Inner hinges have been replaced. Great size, measuring 26 " tall x 32" long x 21" deep. I have provided many photos, so bid with confidence! Stunning early chest for your use and decor. Good luck and happy bidding!
