For yourconsideration, here is a vintage brass lighter from the Great War era. Made of solid brass, it is the classic bulletshell shaped lighter with sliding cover. Markings are: Patent No. 105107; Rolf; Made in Austria ; IMCO; AUTOMATIC STORM PROOF. Overall, the lighter is in solid condition, with obvious signs of wear, a couple dings and such. It has a couple shortcomings: the lanyard ring has broken off, apparently a long time ago, since the remaining edges are well worn down; there is no wick, and we’re not sure about flint; and it is missing the little wire bale that connects the cap to the lifter. Still a great user-collectible, this is a true vintage antique, not a reproduction model.
