Can't you just hear the Maple Leaf Rag? Circa late 1800's / early 1900's claw foot piano stool. Excellent working condition - top swivels from 18" high to 23" high. Dark mahogany finish looks original, but I'm not an expert. Metal claws tarnished, but glass balls intact, and all are solidly attached. T are some minor scratches, a couple chips in one of the spindles, and one spindle looks like it was re-glued into the leg, but no major cracks - nothing to detract from this ragtime era beauty. I can't promise you'll play like Scott Joplin or Jelly Roll Morton, but if you buy this item I'll throw in a CD of one of them (my choice, please).Pickup in Deerfield IL can be arranged, or buyer can calculate shipping based on a box 16x16x20, 16 lbs. and add $10 handling fee. PayPal, certified checks or money orders accepted. I make every effort to be honest in my listings and not mislead buyers,so if you win this item I sincerely hope you are happy with yourchoice as I cannot accept returns.
