Antique Clear Hallmark Solid Silver Sugar Shaker 1910

Here is a very lovely solid silver sugar shaker with bristol blue glass insert. It has an intriguing and very attractive design.
The Hallmarks are very clear and show that this is made by Alfred Marston based in Birmingham and the date the piece to 1910 (Edwardian). There is a full hallmark on the foot of the piece and another of just the lion passant and the date letter on the lid - see all photo's for details. The piece has been made incredibly well made and is not only very pretty but also has a lovely secure and twist lid closure. The silver is in excellent condition with no dents or repairs. The glass insert has two chips on the side of it (see photo for details) and another on the base - these do not really detract esp the one on the underside as when the glass is inside the silver frame they are quite difficult to see. I have left this piece un-polished as i know some people prefer to leave silver with it's original patina. Measures 6.5" in height and 2.6" at it's widest point. I have weighed this piece on my kitchen scales which are not exact and it roughly weighs 150g without the glass insert inside it. terms of sale: Items are described as accurately as possible, to the best of my knowledge and ability. I also take good clear photos so that items can be seen clearly.
