This unusual antique paperweight 70mm (2.75'') high x 95mm (4'') across and weighs 800 grams. It has a slightly concave base with a snapped pontil that has been roughly ground and the glass has an slightly amethyst colour to it with bubbles to the outside layer. The millefiori canes are tightly packed and one is clearly marked with a C and I have taken plenty of close ups of the others to hopefully enable identification by the expert. It does have a bruise to the top and several small nicks around the base but it clearly has good age and a quality feel to it. An interesting Antique paperweight.
