Are you looking for that special Christmas gift, one that will withstand the test of time? Consider this beautiful and rare, Statue Clock by Florence Kroeber a charismatic clockmaker (1860's - 1900). A genius and an artist? Some think so. He walked to the beat of a different drummer than his contemporary clockmakers. T are so many stories about him that it is difficult to separate fact from fiction. T is no doubt however, that he manufactured many fine clocks that are very collectable today. He held numerous patents on clock mechanisms and his case design showed an artistic talent as well . This case and movement are in excellent condition. The statue was made by Kroeber's father-in-law Nicholas Muller. It is the only statue that I have seen on a Kroeber clock w the statue is signed by Nicholas Muller & Sons. The Eight-Day, Time & Strike movement has been refurbished. New bushings were installed and it was cleaned, lubricated and adjusted. It is in excellent running condition and ready to give good service for another 100 years. It strikes on the half-hour and counts out the hour on a soft pleasant sounding, Cathedral Gong. It comes complete with the original signature key and pendulum bob. Exercise the "Buy it Now" option and you will have it in plenty of time before Christmas. Shipping weight 25 pounds.
