Up for bid is a beautiful Waterbury Clock Co. Gingerbread clock. Appears to have the original pendulum of brass with a church & flowers impressed on it. I wound the clock and it worked for the whole day I was trying it out. It dongs once on the half hour, and dongs the number of times depending on the time for that hour. It has one extra dong for the hour. Nice oak cabinet, and decoration on the glass which is almost 100% (see photos). A key is not included. Nice patina. 21 3/4" tall, 14 1/2" wide at the base. The face of the clock is made of paper, probably original. Condition: Amazingly just about all of the glass decoration is intact, the numbers on the dial are bright black and defined, some soil on the dial. Below the #6 says, "Made in U.S.A. by Waterbury Clock Co." There is some wear to the case, but no chips of the wood. A few tiny paint specks on the front. Inside the cabinet the back-wood is painted black. Probably could use a cleaning and a little adjustment for the extra dong, but it kept accurate time while I had it running. It dongs 2 minutes after the half hour and 2 minutes past the hour. Photo #6 shows a white square on the glass--that is glare & not on the clock.
