These are very old clothespin ornaments that have both American and European characters. They are very well made with a lot of thought and planning. They all have different styles of applied arms, most of which have been cut into shape. The costumes include hats , hair, and various objects that they carry having to do with their characters. They are made from felt, yarn, paper, metallic brocade, and sticks. The characters are as follow: Santa & Mrs. Claus, The 3 Kings, A doctor & Nurse, Robin Hood, a castle sentry, Napoleon, a soldier, a Hiker, a mountain climber, a clown, a Hawaiian Hula Dancer, 2 drummer boys, An English Bobby(policeman) a firefighter, a Western(cowboy) Sheriff, and a sailor.
