This antique 1880 PENN crimper was an essential tool of the Victorian seamstress. During the period, it was fashionable to crimp the collars and hems of many garments. Made by the American Machine Co., of Philadelphia PA. It is constructed of cast iron with solid brass rollers. an adjustable clamp secures the machine to the desired work surface. Some wear to the black paint and ornate decoration, otherwise very good to excellent antique condition. Makes a wonderful decor item! INSURED SHIPPING IS ONLY $14.00 , to anyw in the continental US.
