Antique Club Aluminum Ware Coffee Maker 1920'sThis coffee maker belonged to my great grandmother (she was 92 when she died in 1978). This is a vintage sought after Club Aluminum Coffee Pot. I was able to findthis pot pictured in an advertisement for Club Aluminum ware from the mid 1920's......... It is a nice old coffee pot with wood handles, both on the side and on the lid. The wood is painted black and shows some wear to the paint and I would rate the paint at about 75 to 85%. The pot comes complete with it's original burner stand, percolator basket and lid. This would make a great decorative piece in a vintage kitchen or by the fireplace. It is also functional and could be used to make a great cup of joe. This would also make a fantastic piece for a WWII living historian or re-enactor or a WWII Home Front collector.
Pot is marked on the bottom CLUB Aluminum Ware with Personal Service and around the words is a circle with an illustration of a man. It is also marked with an "M" and a "2".Pot measures 9 inches high. The lid adds another 1 1/2 inches (including top handle). The pot is 7 inches wide - it is 8 1/2 inches wide from edge of handle to tip of spout. The pot is in very good vintage condition. It has no dents. T are some very minor scratches and signs of wear to the aluminum but overall quite nice. The interior is somewhat darker in a mottled kind of way but not rusty at all.
