Up for bid is this beautiful coal foot warmer, made of wood and punched tin. It dates back to the 1800s, when it was used to keep passengers warm in their carriages. It is a delightful piece with delicate heart decorations punched in the sides of the tin. It is doweled and has through tenons on the top and bottom. It has a nicely shaped wire handle that lays down flat and a door latch that moves in a circular motion to open and close the door. All original. It measures 9" wide x 8" deep x 6" tall. This foot warmer is in excellent condition. It certainly would look lovely sitting on your mantle! Don't miss this one! Please email with any questions or if you would like additional pictures. I am happy to combine shipping with other items purchased. Be sure to check out our other items currently listed for auction. As always, a money-back guarantee and no reserve! Happy Holidays and Happy Bidding!
