This is the horizontally embossed version, not arched, it reads G. NORRIS & CO. on one side with CITY BOTTLING WORKS DETROIT MICH on the other. Mc C is embossed on the lower edge and stands for Wm. McCully & Co. Pittsburgh, Pa. circa 1841-1886.
It's cobalt blue, has a smooth bottom and is only 6 3/4 " tall. The glass is whittled and has some nice bubbles, one tiny bubble on the shoulder was left open when it was made and t are a few tiny light colored onion skin type bubbles on the base rim. The glass is sunken in a bit on the side w the letters KS are in the word WORKS which adds crudeness to the bottle. It has a lot of wear both ground and case wear and inside haze but the wear is not deep and a tumble would make it look great. No chips, cracks, dings,or bruises, the lip and top are smooth with no roughness and the embossing is not damaged. USA Shipping only. Checks, Money Orders, and Pay Pal accepted.
