These spurs are old and have been in the back room of our leather business for many years. We called it our museum, but it is more like an accumulation of items traded to us for leather or items that were left t and never picked up again. Our business is 144 years old and we feel some of these items may be better appreciated and displayed by someone other than us. These spurs are matched, have complete heel chains on them and both have what appear to be the original spur straps on them. The leather on the spur straps is dry but could be oiled back to life. The spurs are very sturdy built, have a look of utility use rather than show or fancy cowboying. I bet they have some history. They were made to last. They look handmade to me as they are finished off with screws and the spurstraps are held on by a washer and screw!!!. Something very different.
