Auction Description: Item for auction is a nice collectible condition crystal glass water carafe. Very elegant pattern design, possibly a flower and/or star type pattern, not sure since these things are not something we collect. T are no markings or tags, so not sure who the maker was???...American Brillant, Imperial, Fostoria, Lenox, Waterford, etc...this is one of several items that we have been unpacking from storage and will be listing on eBay over the coming weeks, so mark us as a favorite and stop by often. This item is of very elegant quality and would make a nice addition to any collection, display and/or use setting. Heavy thick crystal glass has a nice ring when thumped with a finger. Mild use and/or shelf wear for the years, most wear is to the bottom from shelf wear...item is from grandparents estate, so is definitely an authentic piece. Packaged item measures 24" x 12" x 10" and weighs almost 6-7 pounds well packaged for shipping to winning bidder! Carafe measures 7.5" tall by 4" at base by 6.25" round at mid-section by 2.75" round at top and glass thickness is approximately 1/4" The artistic quality is quite elegant with deep cut patterns around the bulbous mid-section...looks to be leaves and flowers that are like star burst???...the neck is fluted with a beaded pattern that runs vertically for grip...absolutely beautiful overall!
