WELCOME Offered is a most beautiful antique enamel on repousse brass victorian compact? chatelaine purse-Victorian France? This looks to be rare. This no longer has the mirror. I do not know the exact age, I do know that this is very old. I have taken many photos for you to view. This opens and closes beautifully, with the little ball snapping through the small opening, and is missing an enameled section of the big yellow moon. With slight spotting on the brass, as this is a very old piece, and does have a section on the bottom of the loop that looks to be either slightly seperated, or just overlapped (I cannot tell) and is not entirely smooth on the detailed back. Either way, this is a superb antique collectible, measuring 3 5/8" from top to bottom, 3 3/16" across and 9/16" deep. This exquisite collector's piece is being sold as is, as this is in used condition, again, very old, very lovely.
