Up for sale today is a really great antique Victorian Composition Boudoir or Bed Doll. This doll comes with its original clothing, and is pretty complete. The doll is a nice larger size - its approx. 30" long overall (from head to dress hem - from head to bottom of feet it is only 26" long). The torso is part composition (9 1/4" long) and the rest is cloth.This doll has a gorgeous face. She has reddish blonde or strawberry blonde hair. She has full eyelashes, complete makeup, and even a beauty mark! Her face is covered by its original netting, which is still 85 to 90% intact! She has composition arms, which are approx. 6 1/2" long each, with painted fingernails. Her feet are also composition, and are approx. 2 7/8" long (from calf to bottom of shoe) and 2 3/8" wide (from heel to toe).Her dress is a lovely light gray satin. It has a ruffled bodice with ribbon flower accents connected with trim. The lower portion of the dress also has a few spots of the ribbon flowers. To me most of the dress also looks hand stitched.This doll is in great condition for its age. The doll's chest and right arm both have some crazing, but there are no missing portions or chips. The dress shows no tears, an only has very light storage wear. There is possibly some light age discoloration, but nothing major, and I don't see any major stains or soiling. Some
