Offered is an adorable antique Conta Boehme fairing trinket box that measures 3.5 inches tall by 2.75" long from side to side by 2" thick from front to back. The box is in great condition...I do see 2 small firing cracks that occured during the making of the piece on the inside bottom of the box itself (pic. # 8)...I also note that one of the tiny flowers that decorates the top lid of the box shows some minor discoloration...Otherwise, I see no chips, cracks, hairlines, stains, discolorations, signs of excessive use or abuse or damages of any kind on the piece. I see the Conta Boehme mark on the inside lid of the box, as well as "143--124" (pic. # 10). The top of the box shows a wonderful well-dressed young boy sitting on a box eating something from a cup. I also see a well-colored dog on the young man's shoulders begging for a bit of food. I see sweet faces on the both the dog and the young man, and I note a ring of flowers around the pair. The lower section of the box shows a running ivy pattern with gold highlights. No Reserve. Please don't hesitate to E-Mail with any questions.
