A finely modelled continental 750/1000 standard silver match holder & striker in the form of a nautical scene, with a barrel forming the match holder and striking function and a young boy dressed in naval costume sitting on a package with an anchor & rope attached. This great figure would be a rare addition to a vesta related collection. I believe this to be dated circa 1900 and there is a makers mark (see picture) that I haven't been able to decipher. It is in good condition, weighs 137.7g and the dimensions are approx 9.5cm tall and 10cm long.
