Being sold without reserve is an Antique hanging corner shelf . It is approximately 32" tall X 19 1/2" wide . From the center of the back , the sides extend out 13 3/4" . I believe it is Walnut . The mirrors are 10 1/4" X 5 3/4" and they both have a couple tiny spots w the silver has flaked off . As you can see it is very highly carved and the photos really don't do all the carving justice . It is magnificent in person . The only damage I can find is on some carving in the center of the top shelf . A carved leaf has the tip broken off and t are a group of 3 berries missing next to the brokne leaf , see photos . I'm not sure of the age but it is very early . The pieces of wood , on the back , that hold the mirrors in , are very thick and hand chamfered and held in place by tiny square nails . Friends that have looked at it believe it is pre Civil War [ 1860 ] and maybe earlier . I tried to take enough photos so you can judge for yourself . I wish I had the words for this piece as it is truly magnificent and should probably be in a Museum . You will never see another one like it . Note : we have a contract with our consignors that everything goes on ebay for 7 days , $9.00 no reserve , so please don't ask for a BUY IT NOW price .
Pick-up is always welcome and free . Shipping will be by Greyhound Bus to anyw in the Continental 48 States . Cost of shipping will be $80.00 which includes insurance . You will pick it up at the Greyhound Terminal closest to your home . We will need the location of the Greyhound Terminal closest to your home and your phone number so Greyhound can contact you when it arrives . We have shipped many pieces of furniture by Greyhound and found them to be both fast and reliable . NOTE : If need be , I could have this professionally packed and shipped by UPS but it would be very expensive but probably worth it . Everything is sold without reserve . We try to take good photos and give honest descriptions but since we sell on consignment for others we are no experts. If we omit any detail or you have a question please ask . Because we have been scammed a couple of times , everything is sold as is ,no refunds , no returns , EXCEPTIONS : see Me page . We accept Money Orders , Personal Checks , cash on pick-up and Paypal . If you cannot agree to these terms please don't bid. I'm sorry we have to do this but we must . Hopefully the honest people understand and the dishonest ones won't bid. Hi , a friend of mine was looking and said the shelf looks so small on the listing . I just want to be sure that everyone knows , it is large . It's 32 inches tall . Please be advised shipping is $40.00 . Somehow I must have entered a figure wrong on the Greyhound site and got the wrong shipping cost . Someone questioned the shipping price so I double checked and got it right this time . Sorry for the mistake but it really was a mistake . I tried to change it but I can't . When I send the invoice I can change it . Again , shipping is $40.00 .
