Up for auction is this original old cottage cabinet. This is a woodland design. It came from the upper part of Michigan around the 1920's 1930's era. This is a beautiful piece and made from birch bark, really something, and it is in excellent condition. It has a picture of the upper Michigan area, looks like a river with logs floating down it. And that is how they transported the logs that were cut, by floating them down the river. It measures 40 3/4inches tall by 12 3/4inches wide and12inches deep. All the wood is in excellent condition and even the birch bark as you can see is not damaged anyw You can see that the small side limbs for trim were painted black and in spots that has come off.The original knob for drawer is missing. It has one shelf on the inside. If you like the cottage furniture or woodland look, this is a super piece and small enough to mail. It weighs 20 pounds. Good luck bidding.........
