Up for your consideration is this antique country French Louis XV style collectible needlepoint footstool with nail heads. There is a date on the bottom that reads: "Feb. 6th 1910 or 1940". The frame is made of wood finished in dark walnut paint. It is upholstered in a floral motif needlepoint fabric with a teal background. The metal nail heads are finished in antique gold. The footstool is in fair to good sturdy condition overall with nicks and scrapes here and there, stain loss, wear and signs of many repairs over the years. The fabric has considerable wear, small holes and discoloration. It can be replaced or left as is if desired. This is a antique collectible, elegant and a highly decorative piece great for the country french interior. The stool measures 15" x 12" x 9" high.
