AntiqueCow Steer Horn Mirror Hat Rack Attractive Authentic A fabulous hanging wall mirror and coat or hat rack made of steer horns and leather. The top rack of horns is about 26" wide and about 11' deep. The base of the mirror is 12" by 12" (turned 45 degrees). The mirror base and the bases of the horns are all covered in old leather (a little dried and brittle) decorated with three stars cut from leather and attached with what appear to be colored (red and blue) thumbtacks (one tack is missing at the top of the star on the right as you face the mirror). The old silvered plate glass mirror is dulled with age, and has a scalloped edge which appears to have been made by hand chipping the plate glass. The piece is basically in very good, as found condition. T are no significant damages and it looks great. This is not a cheap, new curio but an authentic piece of vintage western Americana (1920's-'50's?) for the devoted collector. It is really something you can hang your hat on!
