Beautiful English Staffordshire soft paste or creamware handleless cup and saucer in the pattern known as "Cut strawberry, Primrose or Old Strawberry", made between 1820-1860. It has green featherlike leaves with pink flowers and a rust colored border and of course strawberries. The cup is 2 3/8 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches across the mouth, has 3 small nicks on the rim, a few small chips on bottom rim and some in the making dots inside the cup,looks good. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches across, has 2 nicks and a small hairline on the rim,some crazing in the bottom and a few small chips on the bottom rim, looks good.
