Old/Antique CULLER Williamsport PA Birdseye Maple Bed
This is a beautiful old double/full-size antique birdseye maple bed made by Culler Furniture company, Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Has hand-painted design on head and foot board; some of it has worn off (see pics). It is in excellent used condition with normal wear for the age; still has the Culler paper label on inside of the rail. NO REPAIRS, breaks, gouges - just old scratches on the rails. Mr. Culler owned and operated the Culler Furniture Company, organized in 1893, with E.A. Rowlek and Robert Hawley. The company expanded through two locations, culminating its operation at the foot of Susquehanna Street in Williamsport. Mr. Culler died in 1924 at the age of 65; I can find no information about the company after 1924.
