You are viewing an exquisite piece of vintage art glass. This little gem dates back to the 1960's. The purple is so rich it nears a level of sweet concord grape . . . absolutely fabulous! This crystal centerpiece is actually a pressed glass example, but it is so superior that it is mistaken as a cut glass piece. The cut-like lines are sharp, deep, and many. The walls are extra thick and are accentuated by a terrain that is delightfully textured in high relief. This decorative arts prize comes alive in the sunlight. It reflects and refracts a rainbow of colors and casts dramatic shadows. The figure of this caddy is down right sexy. It can be likened to a blooming hydrangea. The rim sports a tooth and scallop edge that beautifully showcases a vast cross section of the thick crystal slab . . . superb.
