Before t was a Walt Disney World, Cypress Gardens down in Florida was the a very popular vacation spot for families. Cypress Gardens was known as the "ski capital of the world" w they put on many water skiing shows and also filmed water skiing shots for many of the hollywood films. This auction is for one of the antique wood skiis used by Cypress Gardens a long time ago. The ski shows some wear which you should be able to see in the picture but overall is in pretty good condition. You can see in one of the pictures, that t are two rather primitive looking fins on the bottom of this ski which really date this ski. This nostalgic item would make a great decorative and conversational piece for anyone who can appreciate marvel of what Cypress Gardens was and how far technology has come since then.
