Up for auction is a beautiful antique fancy perfume bottle by the highly collected maker APOLLO. Apollo Studios of New York was a division of Bernard Rice's & Sons and items marked with the Apollo stamp as this item is were made from 1909-1922. These pieces are usually marked only with Apollo the Company is known for their stunning ornate filigree perfume bottles and vanity items. This gorgeous perfume bottle is footed and has rich deep rose burgundy and purple cut Czech glass. The one in the stopper is encased in gilt ornate brass and the one in the base which also has a circle of Czech purple glass around it is also encased in gilt ornate filigree. The perfume bottle stands 8 inches high and is about 3.25 inches wide. In very nice condition, with slight loss of gilt as is normal for its age.
