Its huge! I couldn't find a place to hang it where i could get the whole quilt. This is a 1930's dahlia star with 30 hand pieced blocks, Each block is 12" and the green sashing is 3" wide. Each dahlia has a yellow calico center and green blades. Two different greens are used one is deep like the green sashing and the other is a more jade green, both popular shades in the 1930's. The stars are all made with a red/pink/aqua/tan feedsack print and this same print is used on the 2" outer border. All the green sashing is hand quilted in a flower pattern, 9spi. The front of the quilt has a is very clean. The white cotton backing has about 3 faint spots, match to eraser head sized and do not show through to the front. The batting is thin cotton. Green binding is hand closed. No holes or wear to any part of the quilt. Measures a roomy 80" x 96" so you have a nice amount of overhang on a full bed and it will top a king bed.
