A lot of levels that I buy are in very poor display condition. I enjoy returning them to respectability in hopes that other collectors might enjoy them. This auction is for a L. L. Davis No. 1 machinist's inclinometer level with the following information. Measures 7 - inches long by 2 & 3/8 - inches high by 7/8 - inches wide. The top and bottom still have 80% of the milling marks. The level is fully adjustable and functions as intended. The vial appears to be original and good. This level is marked with "THE DAVIS TOOL CO." and "PAT. SEPT. 17, 1867" logos. All the edges, corners, and filigree are in excellent shape. The only negative is a small amount of pitting to the rails that can be seen in the pictures. As with all my level sales, if you are not satisfied, return the level within 14 days and I will refund the bid price. Feel free to e-mail me any questions that the description or pictures do not answer.
