You are looking at an Antique Deco Style Table Lamp made by the Aladdin Manufacturing Company! This lamp is Cast Iron with a simple Deco form base. The base has Flowery Floral and Ribbon Decoration. The base measures about 4 1/4" in diameter. As you can see from the pictures it is in a True Shabby Chic Condition. The original White-Cream and Light Blue Painting is well worn. On the bottom of the base are the makers markings: "Aladdin MFG CO... Muncie, Ind...No.4". The Shade is absolutely Fabulous! It is a White and Light Blue Frosted Glass with great designs, also worn (see photos). The diameter of the shade is about 8 1/4" at its widest points. T is a matching original cap and Finial on top. T is a label on the switch that reads: "Aladdin ... The Wonderful Lamp". The overall height of the Lamp is about 13". The length of the chord is a little over 7 feet. The lamp dates between 1919 and 1935. is some history about the Aladdin Mfg Co: "Aladdin Manufacturing Company of Muncie Indiana, produced oil lamps as well as electric lamps with the name Aladdin. The company was founded in 1919 by O. Sacksteder, jr., and had no relationship with its competitor Aladdin Industries, a subsidiary of The Mantle Lamp Company.
