This is a beautiful antique and large Art Deco bisque sculpture of a mermaid. Measuring almost 13 inches high. According to the original owner, the left arm has a professional repair, with the arm being a bit pinker than the other. However this is a outstanding figurine which is made by Rudolstadt Germany. I show a photograph of its many bottom marks. Featuring a sensual mermaid, with a long tight draping outfit which shows every curve. She holds a small shell in one hand, and wears a large shell hat. The design is superb, with the mermaid leaning upon a tree stump at the edge of the ocean. She has both her legs, and her long tail lies to her side. This is one of the most beautiful antique mermaid sculptures I have ever seen. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A 5 DAY AUCTION. THANK YOU.
