This is a beautiful art deco era Bulova ladies wrist watch from 1924. It features a very ornate exterior floral motif, which extends to the sides and the bottom of the watch, a satin face with shimmery gold numbers and gorgeous blue hands. The chain link band is composed of alternating ornate and plain links. It is marked "Bulova, 14k gold filled, American Standard, Pat. Jun. IC. 1924, 8575365" and the following sets of numbers, inscribed inside: 209a, 476n, 13750, 29660, 82824, and two more sets that are very faint, and so I cannot read them. T is a protective sheeting over the working mechanism, which is marked as 15 jewels. The face measures 1 and 1/8" by ~5/8", and the total length is 6.5" when the it is closed. The clasp snaps shut tightly and is marked "Peerless Wearpruf Pat. 1.966.063 Pat Pend." The watch is in really great condition, with one minor ding on the bottom, and so very feminine and wearable and suitable for day wear.
