For auction is this antique colonial deed, beautifully hand written, transferring property from one John Newell of Berkshire County, West Stockbridge, MA to Samuel Arnold of Caanan County, Columbia, New York in the year 1791. It is in antique condition, but intact with a small cover paper to protect it. It begins, "To All People to whom the shall come Greeting Know ye -- That I John Newell of West Stockbridge in the County of Berkshire and Commonwealth of the Massachusetts. . ." It is signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of Seth Newell, William Jacobs, and John Newell. The red wax seal has a piece of paper over it to prevent bleeding onto the rest of the document.
