For sale a Dentist's Office Suite from yesteryear. In the 1930's a young aspiring Dentist moved to Berkeley, Ca., built a home and office near the University of California campus and practiced dentistry well past retirement age until his passing about 2 years ago. He was well known in the community and loved by Cal students who would often get free care. Because the office was built in a corner of his home it remained undisturbed after he ended his practice and virtually unchanged for all these years. The package includes a wooden dental cabinet FULL OF TOOLS! and the original sixteen apothecary jars that are housed in the top compartment. A Ritter Tri-dent stand circa 1920's that uses electricity, air, water and gas. It has a large Phelton lamp, drill unit, the original glass cuspidors, the hard to find platter, and a gas lantern. There is a wall mounted GE X Ray machine that extends and retracts, a Castle sterilizer, a great Ritter dental chair circa 1920's, and lots of accessories from the office. Some of the pictures were taken prior to removal from the office which was like a journey to Pre WW II. If I were a dentist, I would love to have this nostalgic grouping for my own home or display in my office complex. This is a great opportunity to have a part of American dental history. I will try to list more pictures if they will upload. This is a pickup only auction but there are shipping services that can accommodate this set. Please email any questions, items sold as - is all sales final, Cal residents please pay 9.75% sales tax or provide sellers permit info, buyer responsible for pick up or delivery costs. Thank you
