You are bidding on a set of 6 Antique Mahogany Dining Room Chairs. This is a RARE FIND because of its size, age and beauty and was VERY WELL made either by or attributed to Kittinger, Baker, or Charak and is made of THE HIGHEST quality. This set dates back to the early part of the 1900s and is Circa 1930 and is American made and SOLID Mahogany. It has 2 arm and 6 side chairs which all sit on beautifully tapered and rounded legs. The backrests and beautifully curved and crested with fluted columns on the back splats and the bottom trim of each chair has beautifully carved Ancathus leaves as shown in the photos. The top rail has a nice spindle carved design as well. It has a beautiful and exotic naturally figured mahogany wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. The upholstery has a beautiful designer pattern in a Semi Satin finish with brass tacked nailhead trim going throughout the edges. I took a picture of the chairs with a matching table that is on a separate Ebay auction so you can get a better idea on what they look like. This set was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age and the upholstery needs to be professionally cleaned or recovered but overall they are in excellent shape. The chairs measure approx 33 1/2 inches high, 22 inches wide and approx 18 inches deep. The arm chairs overall are larger and measure approx 22 1/2 inches wide, 19 1/2 inches deep and they all sit at approx 18 inches in height.This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at $1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
