Antique Designer Mahogany Lyre Carved Full Size Bed NR THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on an Antique Designer Flame Mahogany Lyre Harp Carved Full Size Bed. This piece was BEAUTIFULLY made and a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty. Its American made and is Circa 1930. The bed sits on beautiful tapered and fluted legs. The footboard has beautifully carved finials at the top of each side with nice Ancathus carved columns with a floral leaf design carved into the wood. The headboard has a nice open splat at the center with a beautiful gilded and carved Lyre / Harp shaped motif with nicely beaded trim work in a round open cut out and nice floral leaf pattern as you can see in the pictures below. The top rail of the headboard is also beautifully flared out and has nicely curved trim throughout as well. It has a beautiful and exotic swirl flame crotch mahogany wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures below. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is antique so it has some minor imperfections on it but overall its in excellent shape. The bed overall measures approx 57 inches wide and 81 inches long. The headboard is approx 46 inches high and the footboard is approx 26 inches high. This is a NO RESERVE auction
